The Clutch Switch, also called the clutch lever sensor is a small but critical electrical component in modern motorcycles and scooters. Clutch Switch is designed to detect the position of the clutch level and enable or disable the engine starting circuit or other electronic functions accordingly. Materials used in Clutch Switch are Nylon 6 or ABS Plastic, stainless steel. Clutch Switch functions prevent engine start unless clutch is pulled in, Can disable cruise control or starter system when released, allows gear changes in certain models only when clutch is detected.
