Apache 160 New Model Magnet Packing, also known as the Magneto Cover Gasket or Stator Cover Gasket, is a seal or gasket used in motorcycles and scooters to seal the engine crankcase cover where the magnet and a stator coil is housed. This part is essential to prevent oil leakage and protect electrical components inside the magneto assembly. Materials used in Magnet Packing are Nitrile Rubber, Cork-Rubber Compound, Non-asbestos fiber, Paper Gasket Material, and Metal+Rubber.
